Be Ye Thankful give-away, enter now!

It's almost that time of year here in the states......our traditional Thanksgiving on the 4th Thursday in November. The date this year is the 23rd and I am having my usual Be Ye Thankful give-away to celebrate. Since the original day was a celebration of the harvest....I like to celebrate a harvest of friends! And I am very thankful for each and every one of you.

I thought I would put together a nice selection of goodies to surprise one lucky winner. So you will have to wait and see what it is! These surprises usually have a value of $50 or more as I like to include a nice selection. You can suggest what you would like...floss, fabric (linen or aida), charts, motto kit, etc.....but first you have to tell me what you are thankful for!
I am always thankful for many things....my wonderful family that surrounds me.....the blessings I have received...and the friends and followers I have met which is the best part of this business. From all over the world I have met the nicest group of people that I enjoy chatting and sharing with.

The give-away will be on the 22nd of November as I will be very busy on the holiday.

  98. I am thankful for so many things, mostly family and friends. But this year, while I am extremely thankful for our newest little grandson, I am thankful for Dylan and what he meant to us. Dylan came to us almost 12 years ago. We were camping and hubby wanted to go fishing at a nearby marina and there he was. He was young and adorable and looked up at us with those big, sad puppy-dog eyes. I tried really hard to ignore him, because I figured his family must be nearby. But, he followed us. We hiked through the woods along the lake for a bit until hubby found a good fishing spot. This sweet pup stayed with us for four hours! During this time (I was reading) I ended up petting him, of course. I noticed that, not only did he not have a collar, but he was a bit on the thin side and he was covered in big ticks. So, I spent about two hours picking ticks off and tossing them in the lake. When we got back to the truck, we had decided that this pup was obviously homeless and neglected, so into the truck he went! We stopped by K-Mart on our way back to the campground and bought a collar, leash and puppy food. Dylan became part of our family! He was in the middle of everything that we did for the next 11 and a half years! Just a little over a month ago, we had to let Dylan go after about a year long battle with mast cell cancer. I am still brokenhearted. But I am so very thankful that this wonderful, beautiful, brilliant and amazing dog chose us. I am working on a scrapbook to commemorate his too short life. We chose Oct. 15 to be his birthday, so he was just a few days short of 12. We will never forget him.
